The so called Knights of the Squirrel are actually more of a social club (like the real world Moose or Elk) hosted by the family Acorn, a clan devout to Cyrrollalee the Halfling goddess of Friendship, Trust, and the Home and important in the internal politic of Luiren due to their high standing in the church. They still demand a code of (halfling styled) honor from it's members, and they consider themselves defenders of Hearths and Inns - which in Luiren usually means bouncing drunks, but can involve repelling Goblin Raids alongside the sheriffs. Despite their less than intimidating name, they take this martial duty seriously, as well as a perceived responsibility to all Halflings.
Alignment: Any but NE or CE, Leader is LG but flexible
Race: Halfling, though as the faction grows space will open for non-halflings in the form of the Raccoon Auxiliary
Goals: Defend Halflings, pursue the dogma of Cyrrollalee, Protect the Mists End, Kick-ass with a silly motif, get hype, have fun and adventure

Halfling Honor is somewhat different from the perceptions of most.
Being born of a race that is three feet tall in a world full of monsters breeds a certain degree of pragmatism into you. Halfling honor is less structured around how one treats one's enemies, as is it is how one treat's ones friends.
Always help a friend in need.
Always share what you don't need.
Always defend your neighbors.
Always meet others for the first time with an open hand.
Don't be wasteful or destructive.
Be kind, and cheerful when you can.
Don't hurt others for your pride.
Conversely, Halflings have few moral qualms about utterly crushing those who absolutely insist on being unfriendly. Poison, Ambushes, Traps, Magic, and other tools are considered fair game. After all, the odds are tilted against the Halflings - they're little people in a big world, and they have to stick together.
Just a note that unlike certain Hick clans, Acorn Family halflings remain app free.
