Considering what it's done with Marvel this may be a good thing. Also i'm sure Lucas holds onto the only Lucas Films copyright that actually matters with an iron fist that won't be pried off till his grandchildren die of old age.

I wonder how George Lucas feels to know that across the internet, Star Wars fans rejoice to know he will be kept the hell away from the franchise now?

Jokes aside, the Disney takeover will be a good thing. Lucas lost his magic touch in the 80's. Ewoks were just the beginning of his downward spiral into a creative abyss of cutesy darkness.

Considering the selling price of 4.05 BILLION, I'd bet he's feeling pretty damn good.
