Title: Broken Perk: Brawler
Post by: DonPC on November 10, 2012, 02:50:02 PM
I decided to try and build a character with the "brawler" pure fighter perk. It gave me the damage reduction, but when I hit level 5 I didn't recieve the feat: Weapon Specialization: Unarmed Strike.

How do I go about fixing this?

It's improved critical unarmed strike, not weapon spec as I recall.

Not true.

While the powerful of the Realms seek their enjoyment in grand tourneys  involving gleaming armor and groomed destriers, the peasants make do  with a baser form of contest: the bareknuckle brawl. The haggard men and  women who take part in this bloody and storied contest in the inns and  streets of the great cities bear its clear markings of flattened noses,  missing teeth, and swelled brows.

Level 1: 2/+1 DR
Level 5: WS: Unarmed Strike
Level 8: Improved Critical: Unarmed Strike

I stand corrected. Did you rest/relog/wait for reset?

It took a reset for me to get my lvl 5 perk for fighter. Try going into your "crafting" options menu, select 'clear all beneficial spell effects' under configurations, then re-enter the menu and go to the perk menu and click 'refresh perks'. This should force-reload your perk buffs. If that doesn't work, wait for a reset.

If that doesn't work, contact a dm, bugs pop up every now and then  - I needed a DM fix to get lvl 8 politician to load on Emily.

Wait a reset and ensure you don't get it after moving into another area.

If this still persist, let me know.

Without any new word on it, I guess it was fixed.
