Title: Crossing Streams
Post by: PonyPower on December 16, 2012, 04:46:00 PM
Would it be possible for some sort of tool (maybe a long stick?) that enables explorers to jump over streams, much in the same way you can climb up cliffs?

If we could set up a script that checks whenever two rays of frost, disrupt undead, negative energy rays or scorching rays are cast in the same round, to check the target's location and casting origin, and see if they intersect, we could make it so that a number of effects happen at random. A d10000 is rolled.
1-9999=Hellball
10000=Greater Ruin on target.

(But seriously, a way of crossing these would be great. I was just thinking the other day while walking through the Bogs that these streams are very annoying. At the very least, having more ways of getting in and out of them on the other side would be welcome.)

that 1 foot deep creek that is like 4 feet wide is hardcore, no one can ever cross it!  to be serious, maybe the climbing claw can be scripted to work for jumping accross rivers too

Those streams may be shallow and skinny, but that water moves at like mach five. You're be swimming with the withered fishes in under three seconds.
