Title: Mistlocke bridge of magnetic evil
Post by: johanmaxon on January 06, 2013, 01:19:12 AM
I was walking right through the gate - other players saw it too - when suddenly I fell down a bit as one of those on the bridge, ending up on the bottom of the river.

[Steps on a banana, slipping 30 meters and out on the bridge and straight out over the edge.]

With a bit I mean I fell down just as through the traps on the bridge, but between the walls.

Had this happen too. Was going through the front gates, where the two statues are near the bridge, and bam, hello water drop. Wasn't even on the bridge itself yet. Seems to me like lag. EIther that or these traps are bilby brand

Happened to me right at the front door of the Aberdenn Estate. These things can be buggy sometimes, but at least it only does the damage and doesn't make you 'fall through' to the exit point. At least it didn't with me.

Happened to Lucita as well. That bridge must be terribly damaged >.<

It made me 'fall through' into the river as well as the damage. Then there was a lizardman bandit :(

I just got up from my chair in the town square and promptly fell through a pit to the bottom of the river, there to almost be killed by a sea turtle, a gelatinous cube and a dozen leeches. The entertainment value of this particular bug is close to exhausted as far as I am concerned. Is there any progress in fixing it?

Falling through the ruins in front of Aberdenn Estate while talking to someone only to be hit by the drown spell four times from a Shambling Mound isn't fun.

Maybe if the mayor would stop building goddamn walls.

Just fix it or get rid of it.  It is not flavorful when it is so clearly and heavily bugged.  I would've died twice to this bug if I wasn't currently playing a melee build with HP and AC.

Also I might add the 'holes' as so easy to spot and avoid, I don't think it represents a damaged bridge too much and more just an annoyance.  Thats my opinion anyways.
