This is sort of an off-hand suggestion and by no means does it have to be implemented, but one of the frustrations of gathering on a quest is how frequently certain stacks of potions will mix with what you already have in your inventory, which can lead to OOC skimming, unintentional or otherwise. It would be nice to have a way to avoid this before converting the potions to the homogenized standard.
What I've started doing to help avoid unintentional skimming is putting my potions on page 2 or 3 of my inventory and keeping page 1 clear. Then things I pick up go on page 1 and when I pick up potions, I split the ones I picked up right away and the new stack also goes on page 1.
But maybe people already knew this trick.
Keep an empty bag and put items right into it.
It would be a lot of effort on the DM side to do this suggestion, organization would solve the problem.
(I am unorganized but I don't loot anyway)
And this far you guys have always asked potions that always stack >_>
Loot bags. Use them or have someone your character trusts use them.

Hardly the same issue, actually. All we want are potions that can use the homogenizer script or whatever. :)
Please. NEVER ask for potions that don't stack.
EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
