Title: Zkara, Bone Shaman of Bones
Post by: KreShar on March 12, 2013, 03:35:49 AM
Zkara's end finally came, ironically to a giant bone monstrosity. Zkara loved bones. He even carried around the severed leg of an Order footman he killed.

He was a stargazer from Starwood who saw his beloved mate die during its fall to Hbala. He kept the bones of his mate and studied the dark arts of necromancy in withered lands for years. His goal was to become a master of undeath, so that he could figure out a way to defeat Hbala and her minions. However, he also wished to one day return his mate back to life. He ended up animating her skull into his familiar.

He joined the Zodiac order in the Eyrie during its height, fighting along champions such as Siwili, Rkik, and Kniti. He became a master at fighting undeath but he kept his darker studies secret. He would rarely animate bodies and only summoned spirits in the most dire situations. He was more of a "Grey Gazer", who had a very loose interpretation of the Old Ways and would violate them when needed. He believed it was necessary and his burden to carry, to defeat HBala. His dark ways definitely put him at odds with his Gazer buddies at times.

He actually had plans to become an Eater of Dead and a Pale Master but he died in his prime on Howland's awesome Warden quest. Thanks to the dms, especially Jaydemoon, and all the gazers... mag, SN, dize, metallicslime, AMB, gravenkiss, ra-el, griffz, mira, and the countless others. Gazin aint for everyone but its fun out there!

An excellent Gazer who we were all a little wary of. I remember quite a few conversations that consisted of 'Keep an eye on Zkara, that boy ain't right.'

Good luck with your next.

A stargazer who was converted to Mystryl, Zkara the Destiny's Star!

It was fun having a contact among the pale pygmies who was so receptive, which also lead to further developments with the other stargazers back when the Zodiac wielder was around.

[hide=You forgot to include the unique way he had with undead wyverns]Yes, one of them is fighting alongside us, and technically (not visually, unfortunately), Zkara is riding upon its back.

A wonderful character that really played the darker aspects of the Stargazers so well. He was certainly unnerving, always under suspicion and it was great to have played alongside him.

One of my favorite stargazers of all time. Awesome character. Even if he killed and took my Orderman's leg!! Haha!

Sadly didn't see much more of him than his end!

Good luck on your next one Kreshar.
