There is nowhere around there to ditch unwanted stuff, as far as I can see.

Not the Caermyn Inn, and the town is divided. Whenever my PC goes in that area it is laggy as hell with all the NPCs and a trash placeable would be helpful. Even the Caermyn PCs don't all walk about with 300 lbs of lousy mail shirts just in case of someone wanting to buy it. So the items have to go somewhere. So they end up lying around by Muskroot's, lagging up the server.
Also, the item destruction pits serve a useful OOC function of representing "I am smashing up this Create Undead Thing/Paladin Armour so that it doesn't fall into the wrong/right hands". There's not one in either Mistlocke proper or the new market hall.
