After the last days of insanity, Rotberries finally reached her end. She tried to overcome the Withering using her own body defenses, in a similar way she did to strengthen it against poisons and venoms back in Chult. The senile gnome did not realize that her body wasn't the same of years ago and that the Withering was really stronger and more present.
Rotberries endured a constant struggle against the Withering and the never ending hunt for her fellow spider, Didi, who were constantly attacked by the frightened people of Mistlocke. These things put together were slowly drawing the crone closer and closer to insanity, losing control of her anger, letting her wrath to drive her mind, turning towards a chaotic bloodlust against the ones that had wronged her. Most of the time, failing miserably.
In a moment of great pain, Rotberries would even reveal that Didi would be actually her daughter. If it was true or not, we will never know. The rotting hag took the truth with her to the grave.
After a last wrestle against Clara Smogson, the crone turned to the Webbed Tunnels and sought somewhere to hide her pain and sorrow. In a dark corner she were ambushed by a swarm of fleshlings and undead ravens while fighting withered spiders. There she met her end, at least.
Let's hope for Wildwanderer to receive the crone with open arms... or she will face a third hell in the dreadful story of her final days.
Well... she was really fun to play and I thank everyone that were playing along. Not going to call up for names, I give you all my grateful hugs. As memory, I share some screenies for the general fun.
