I know this isn't the biggest priority, but it would be nice to be able to disable your own access to sub-forums like those of player associations and factions without having to bother a DM or Snoteye.
Additions are fine the way they are, but I just thought it might be useful for players to be able to remove themselves when they think it is justifiable.
Moderators i.e. PC faction leaders used to have this power I am told, perhaps something as simple as that could be re-implemented. Of course, that mostly effects PC factions, but high ranking PCs of DM factions might gain the same privilege?
I note that this measure would simply increases the pool of who can accomplish this function (of removing people from faction forums), and is not actually giving direct agency to each individual as requested in the original suggestion though.
Send a PM to Snoteye and he will remove you. He's incredibly efficient and a supreme forum janitor.
The new forums have no means for PCs to remove themselves but this is second best bet.
The Snoteye functionality our forums have is superior to any scripting I have ever seen. All I have to do is PM him, and like as not, the next time I log in it is already done.
That being said, I would also like to thank Snoteye again for being so alert and so fast. I am very grateful we have him.
Sadly, I feel like almost half the people on EFU would misclick the remove from sub-forum button and force Snoteye to put them all in
