The discussion in the 'EFU Best Villains' thread sparked an idea for me.
I think it would be awesome if some manner of compendium regarding unsolved or largely unknown EFU trivia (plots, NPC shenanigins, secrect NPC motivations/agendas/relationships) was published, mostly just taken from the DM Plot/NPC forums and maybe edited for easy outsider comprehension. It just seems such a tragedy that some of the best bits of EFU will never be known (such as why Bhast was such a supervillain, what Ghail and co. got up to in their spare time -- all the behind-the-scenes stuff the average player wouldn't be privy to).
Of course, anything still considered by DMs to be spoilerific even in the new setting could be left out. I'd give more examples beyond Bhast of the types of things I mean, yet don't want to give up any possible spoilers- suffice to say, there's heaps of really cool shit that could be aired out to the playerbase. Think of it as a chance to showcase your genius to the unwitting masses!
Definitely somewhat of a chore to accomplish, but would be cool nevertheless if some DMs wanted to take it up. I think all players love to hear secrets.

This would be awesome. I would love to get to know the old NPCs as well, even those who rarely had any part at all, and just wandered around with a name and a rank. But I guess that's just because I love to get to know characters.
Yes yes yes. Great idea. If its easy to do i would read it avidly. And of course i would presume it would only be dead or completed story lines.

There is one NPC I loved more than any others, and whose story I would like to hear the most.
It was that little goblin who sat with his books in the northern canal, the one you would end up next to if you rode the Beast and came out the other side.
Howland possessed it one time and when he told his little story it was one of those moments when I said to myself, "This place is effing great."
