Sadly Luck's first encounter with magic eaters was his last. His irrepressible companion, Cluxocles, a chicken who had fed upon the dieing cosmic essence of unknown deific entities. Nevertheless, despite his chicken friend's odd taste for dead gods spirit essence, they were the best of friends and the only comfort he wanted was that of Cluxocles.
But even the immense power of a dead god was not enough to defend Lucky from the predator magic eaters, devouring this poor, unlucky old man who just recently had awakened his untapped sorcerous powers.
Alas, they were never to be realized. Now only a bloodstained old cripple and his beloved chicken friend smear the entrance to the Pissing Crone.

Ever since seeing Cluxoclese in the character creation area I had big dreams of him and Ming the badger hero leading all the familiars and animal companions of the world in a grand revolution against the masters who enslave them. Sadly it shall not come to pass, it seems.
