Regarding the thread about gods dropping like they're on a Mort quest...

Can you mark the changes not only in the OP, but also in the subsequent "bump"/update threads?

This helps us see changes more quickly, and leaves a permanent list of deities' order of death.

To be fair, what kills you on a Mort quest is if you fail to stop and think from time to time. The biggest wipe I ever saw on a Mort quest was because players blindly charged into the boss fight instead of looking at the environment and seeing what alternatives they had to a frontal attack. So if the Gods really are on a Mort quest, what will kill them is if they act stupidly.

...maybe that means we will finally get rid of that buttmunchkin moron Marty Stu Cyric. I can hope, I guess.
