QuoteSo it is at last, the coot has met his end. Not without making a few sparks! I enjoyed my EFU break greatly this year, and I'm in debt to all of this wonderful community to whom I owe these blissful moments of EFU grandiosity.
My plan with Albrecht was to explore a facet of lawful good inspired from medieval theology, namely Puritanism. As a devout of Siamorphe, his main goal was to restore nobility and their cronies to power in Sanctuary. I'm happy to say it was a blast in creating these bittersweet enmities with a vast portion of the Sanctuarian populace! It was a joy to log in and just be that old coot, striding in the square and hurling his discontent at the first man he saw. Joy in EFU comes with the little things, these little snippets of interactions that push you ever closer towards these broader, ever-elusive goals.

My beloved old bastard. Well done Pent.
Amazing
Awesome character man, loved how you stuck to your guns no matter what. Enjoyed our rivalry...you crazy old coot :)
A fantastic and consistently well-characterized PC. Well done.
Awesome.
I rather enjoyed just about every moment I spent around this guy. If there was anyone I could count on to bully Nelly about her stutter, it was your character.
A+++ cranky grandpa
I have to applaud you, Pent, for your amazing portrayal of Vauclair. He was an incredibly unpleasant man even to his closest allies, and often pushed conflict in weird and uncomfortable fashions. You had tremendous balls in the way you chose to represent his unorthodox form of morality.
Here's a screenshot I took of his duel with Magnatz, at the very start.

A final reminder of how the old coot refused to back down, even when it was clearly a terrible idea.
Yorrick won't know whether to cry or laug
Yorrick won't know whether to cry or laugh. Sad days when my rival is dead.
Yorrick won't know whether to cry or laugh.
This was a great PC. By far one of my favorites that EfU had to offer. Rest in pineapples, old man.
Why is he well surrounded by naked knight?
He was the kind of character who when you interacted with him, you rarely knew how he was going to react to certain information or ideals. It was always interesting to see the fine line some characters walked while others took a stark and immediate opposition! I did enjoy the interplay between our PCs, Celia was likely one of the few characters not to piss him off on a regular basis, oddly enough.

One of the best characters I've interacted with for a long time. He will be sadly missed.
The Chalice has lost its demented conscience :(
I'll miss his unyielding attacks on Don's mongrel half-orcan blood... yet, despite that, towards the end he grew to respect Don as a person, and not see him purely as a monster. The old man wasn't quite as willing to cling blindly to his dogma as some might believe. You made playing my current character a great joy. He'll be missed. Immensely missed.
An absolutely amazing and well characterized character. A great example of how Lawful Good does not need to mean being nice to everyone.
I will greatly miss my interactions with Vauclair.
I had fun both talking to and disagreeing with Vauclair, but then again, I knew I would. You never disappoint.
Really looking forward to the next time you have the time to play. Almost can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Superb. I enjoyed every moment not around you, excluding our EPIC wizard duel.
