Title: Return glowy eyes and stuff to diviners casting Clairaudience/Clairvoyance
Post by: Eraamion on August 01, 2013, 08:40:07 AM
Specialist diviners with GSF Divination would be cooler for it.

Having played a diviner for a couple of days, it seems to me that the dramatic reduction in the original spell improvements through SF/GSF Divination has left the school where it was at the onset.

A clairaudience/clairvoyance of 3 rounds/level at GSF Divination does not ofset missing invisibility and blur.

I understand the usefulness of Scrying/Arcane Eye has been likewise vastly reduced and besides they are too high caster level for the current low-level setting anyway.

Thanks for considering!

I will not make requests for the buffs, but the glowing eye should as well go for the GSF Divination sorcerers.

It is something really interesting and that helps on the flavor.

It should work on wizard. It does not work on sorcerer because you do not get to choose school. Purpose is in clear focus on divination at the cost of another school completely.

I'm afraid Paha is outdated, I believe the VFX was deliberately changed to be less intense. It was tried but for now glowy eyes remains an indication of things beyond a mere spell. Sorry!

I blame the sla- I mean coders in the basement. They never speak, just grunt and bark when I drop a slap of meat for them.
