Title: Hold person failed with cleric

My cleric of Talona used a hold person spell on another PC, they failed their save, but the spell did nothing. The spell is not a domain spell.

I am unsure of whether or not this is related to the cleric bugs but I can provide more details if needed.

did they have prot from alignment up, or clarity?

There was no notification of immunity on my end. Dr. D. can tell you more, but he was just as surprised as I was by the apparent spell failure.

If it is of help, in the past two days I've been Hold Person'd by 2 seperate clerics 3 times in all. I made my save on two and failed it on one, but everything was normal.

Oh, I should add that a curse spell did work.
