Title: HAK heads - stopped seeing them
Post by: keats73 on August 10, 2013, 08:57:23 PM
Well, they were working just fine - I could select them in the starting area.
I logged on the next morning and I apparently can't see the heads of players who chose them..

It's my characters head in specific he couldn't see (56 or 57 human female, with long hair). The server just reset and now that it has I can't see my head either. I am still using the same session of nwn as I've not logged out yet. /c hacks on  (and variations of it) doesn't seem to be a command.

Ran EFU launcher and it is updated. Now I closed nwn and re-opened it completely to no effect. After this reset the head is not visible to me. Other people can see my head, however, in both instances.

Ok found out why. I was thinking in, you know, actual english and real words. Reading up on my post I realized I was doing 'hacks' and not 'haks'. "/c haks on" solves it.

If you type "/c haks on" or using the launcher (subsequent to a couple days ago) you should be seeing the haks forever more on that PC. So if that's not happening... let us know.

Just to clarify, is there anything new in the launcher yet?  I have all of the old haks (those I liked, anyways) so I didn't bother with the new launcher.  Should I?

We have not had Haks before now, Pup. If you speak of overrides, then overrides are still about. But haks are different.

Yeah just discovered that after turning on the haks.  But thanks!
