Title: Evards immunity
Post by: RuinedDesires on August 22, 2013, 11:21:58 PM
Does not seem to be applying at all to this spell. Could be the new changes to it, or the immunity is just buggy in general.

Might just be the spell. I know some spells you can be immune if targeted but the AOE afterwards still impacts you regardless.

It has never functioned.

No immunity to any form of a "cloud" spell will work at all times. It will usually allow you to be immune to the initial impact and any subsequent effects while remaining in it, but entering the clouds after the effect is on the ground seems to make things strange. I imagine it is because the lingering effect has no "caster" anymore or something! Such details would take a more knowledgeable person to decipher fully however.

I tested this extensively out of curiosity, and it appears the immunity works fine so long as the caster was within perception range of the target. However, when I limboed or killed the caster the spell began to be effective through the immunity item.

I'm curious what perception range means... So evards from invis would not trigger the immunity, but evards facing the person without would?

I think he means the caster transitioning into another area ie the fugue, limbo.
