Title: Slight Issue with the custom spells
Post by: zDark Shadowz on June 07, 2016, 11:42:20 AM
Hey guys, I have the custom spells extracted from the .zip file, and I have the .tlk file in the .tlk folder but unfortunately all the text for the spells appears to be blank. I'm assuming the text is stored there, any ideas what I might've done wrong? Tried both the .tlk file from the spells zip as well as the hak download list. I can cast the spells fine enough, just need to go by the icons for now...

Thanks for your time.

I had a similar issue after being away from the game for a while. Think it was fixed after removing the old files and downloading them again. I don't use the efu launcher- did it manually. Hope that helps.

Worst case, delete everything in the optional folders and use the downloader again. This will fix it.

Since I've been on hiatus, I cannot be fully up to date on everything, but generally if you got our custom .tlk for efu, it should cover spells and all. Rest of stuff, as instructed in the custom spells, should go into override all together.

Our .tlk file still, unless someone changed it, as we've long discussed within the team, is in general nwn directory and just replaces the default .tlk file. As unconventional as it is, and would be better if we had it in custom efu .tlk, inside the tlk folder. Or did I already do that. I honestly can't remember, my life has been extremely hectic for this year.

Thanks, moving the .tlk file up a level from where I had it in the .tlk folder to the NWN folder has fixed this. Thanks a lot!
