Just started playing again after a couple of years. I created a new character today and played for a few hours. I've just logged out for the first time and when I've logged back in, the character is gone from the vault.
Character name: Gregor Sterring
Account: Ordinath
When I initially logged in a DM had to help get me out of the "confirm your CD key is your CD key" area, if that helps.

In addition, I've just created a new character to see if that one stayed. After logging out it also has not been retained in the vault.
