Hi, I've today decided to retire Griff Rheston. I created Griff Rheston to be anti-cultist, anti-monster and anti-monster supporter but he turned out quite differently due to IG-events and friendships. Playing Griff was quite an immersive experience and all decisions I made were all totally In-Character which I'm quite proud of. It did however lead me to make choices that although they made sense IC, weren't so fun OOC for me personally. The politics of Upper Sanctuary although complex & interesting for most started to feel like a headache/chore to keep up with & the same goes for being an officer. Griff had many interesting characters to roleplay with from the beginning, Barnabas Cosca who I'm sad died quite early during our rivalry, Laura Tanner, Kemsith Ta'ieta, Owaine Greywall, Bunwhal, Shard Perion, Kaleidosa, Cormick Redblade, Shatterred Shores ppl & the other many people of the watch, ETCETERA. I really did some cool stuff on Griff I didn't expect to get to do, like destroying lairs, PvPing my allies (lol), get a shit-ton of DM loot, play around in the 25 favor powersuit (its OP!), defeat Terrifying Cave & other insane quests, been fun!
WaW is gigantic now so it'll be fine without me. Just make sure to leave the damn gates from time to time pussies! (jk)

Sorry to see Griff go man. We had some great times, and some shitty-yet-fun-OOCly times. Too bad we couldn't finish the temple raid together..
This makes me sad... Griff was a really fun and interesting PC and I enjoyed playing with him. Can't wait for your next one!

Well, not everyone ends with a bang. Still, Griff was awesome, he'll be a character I remember for quite a while, and considering all the fighting he's been doing I hope he gets a good rest in his retirement (and perhaps come back from time to time to keep WaW in line. :) )
Fuck... You were the only Sergeant I could hit on the head and not get into shit for it! Jk's aside, I will miss Griff -very- much, he was one of the few people I could RP late during my timezone besides zDark_Shadowz. Sad to see your guy retire, Bunwhal will miss our times together taking on any quest that comes in our way (Including our personal favorite, the Bathhouse,) cannot wait for your next character!
