Title: Setting Hostile during sabotage events

If a character is engaged in general hostile activity against the area he is in, wouldn't it be better to set /c Hostile All when he cuts loose? I say this because it can be really frustrating to have to struggle with finding and hostiling people on the PC list while in hot pursuit of them, or for that matter, fumbling the PvP tool onto the hotbar. :/

I recommend setting up a custom text macro with the hostile command. If not Hostile All then at least Hostile Area. Makes it really quick to toggle it. Save it in the SHIFT or CTRL sets of hotkeys. But yes, the instigator is responsible for setting hostile first and foremost.
