Title: Torrak Thunderheart
Post by: Vlaid on October 24, 2013, 12:40:46 AM
Well, Torrak Thunderheart is retired. Marched off to the Lower Dark to find his end and join the ancestors, perhaps he found it, perhaps not. I tried with him for probably longer than I should have to get things moving but I just couldn't get any traction or interest in him or his plots.

Good luck to the few dwarves about, the Society and everyone who knew Torrak. It was fun for a while, but it got dull for me, time for something new when I have the time and passion for EFU again!

Suck it up and actually find something to die against in glorious battle! Raid Taensyr with Ceres or something.

RIP Torrak, a well-characterized PC who was a pleasure to interact with who helped give a new player a direction in EFU. Hope we'll see you back once something catches your fancy, Vlaid.

I really loved the way you played Torrak, definitely one of my favorite dwarves on EfU.

I never got to run you the map quest. Lame.

Let's try to get some more screenshots in these screenshot threads.

Also more obituaries, for dead PCs. As opposed to PCs who are not dead, but merely retired.

Don't feel bad, I was never going to get enough gold to pay the extortion to the goblin that was never on the same time as me anyway. Maybe another dwarf can put it together!

So many -great- PCs have been retired lately. I hope this new trend won't persist !

Thorrak was probably my favorite dwarf on EFU ever.

Kudos for pulling it off, Vlaid.

What Pentaxius said. Changed the way dwarfs are seen and played imho.

Well, just thought I would toss this in here rather than make a new thread. I didn't have a lot of screenshots to share but Torrak's brief forray into a second try is concluded. Thanks to everyone along the way who was involved with the PC!

Personally, I loved Torrak. Having a dwarf in the Society made that organization a lot more interesting than the current all-human compliment it's got now.

Loved him as my halfling and enjoyed talking to him with my Auxiliary.

Though...you have to tell us...what is this screenshot about? How did he die?

It's no big secret. He got bored of the political game for support for the crusade and decided to honor the fallen ancestors in deed rather than word by seeing how far into the depths he could traverse alone with nothing but what he carried. He was always supposed to be more fire and brimstone about the crusade.

If he died so be it, if something cool came out of it even better. Nevertheless undertaking such tasks can be extremely dangerous and it ended his career :)
