As the title says.
Often, you don't want to kill the character you're PvPing out of OOC courtesy, but when fighting summoner-type characters, that is actually the best way to beat their summons due to subduing the summoner currently having no effect on the creatures. It's very aggravating that OOC courtesy can cause you to lose a fight with serious IC consequences. Being nice shouldn't force you to fight handicapped.
I know it wouldn't make IC sense in all cases for summons to be dismissed upon subdual but in many PvP situations it would make everybody happier.
If you black out the PC the summons will be dismissed. So there's that option when dealing with that situation.
Blackout, pick up body, unique action, switch back to subdual and bash. Done.
Same as subduing them except a little lengthier, but doesn't involve killing anyone.
Right, somehow I didn't come to think of that. Good point. Thanks :)
