Not sure what this might or might not mean as they haven't given too much info yet. But potentially a very good thing depends how good a job they do and how well it sells.

Whoops
Hey there. I just found out about this while I was trolling Steam for CRPGs. It also looks like the old thread linked is no longer available so I hope it's okay to borrow this one.
I'm curious if we have any unique insights, as the place where role playing comes to be reincarnated. Will there be the same connection issues at BG:EE? Will we have the rewrite nwscript or recompile mods and haks?
And that's just assuming the Winners Club decides to port over, which they may not.

That should give you some reading to cover your questions & stuff already answered.
It should be backwards compatible with previous NWN modules & haks, (ie we can bring the module & scripts & haks we have into EE) as for connection issues all the multiplayer server does is host the lists and confirm authentication of usernames (so the username thing might be the only thing to worry about!).
Other than that I assume we'd still be connecting directly to whoever is hosting the server we're trying to connect to.
It looks to be online? I'm playing it online right now in some form of beta, yet there are multiple servers and players online.
Any chance EfU is going to go online for EE Beta? Early bird gets the worm and all that?
