I know there use to be a couple more in the starting area. There's only one there now.
So suggestion is to add more around in stores and some improved/magic ones on quests.
To clarify, the only hak weapon available in the start area currently is the maul. The same is true for the market shop in upper. The only one in the loot tables I know of is the wild ones short spear.
I've seen Falchions, Shortspears, Mauls, and tridents. I've seen a dozen pretty unique options when it comes to these weapons. Adding some to the starting area would be a good thing, I think, for newer players and I'm always a fan of weird weapons and cool loot. There could stand to be a little more variety I think.
I think I will add more in the near future :)
