When turning in this quest, I received options for reporting both the "elemental portal" and "insect hive" variations.

The version I completed was the latter, at least.

Same, I got all the options when doing the 'stick' variant.

While the quest itself seems to be in working order, when you turn it in after a job well done it will sometimes have the incorrect text available to choose.

I've always had this. Honestly thought it was flavour for you lying to the kid and exaggerating your heroic deeds!
