I noticed that you can learn a feat from an NPC for a certain amount of gold, in a certain area. I wonder if it's possible to do that with ability scores, too.
A school where you pay 5000 XP in increments of 500, over 10+ resets, to gain +1 Int (and the ability to read).
Will pay 50k gold in increments for +1 strength. Do you even lift?
Being illiterate is more an RP thing than a mechanical thing, granted if you have 6 int you definitely shouldn't be able to read.
This would be to easy to exploit for skill points or the ability to take extra strength and con on fight builds but still be able to grind to the point where you can take feats like expertise later
I am super opposed to this.
