Title: Tribal Cave aka Mos Eisley Cantina
Post by: Random_White_Guy on December 02, 2013, 06:41:02 AM
Men do things. Like hurling boulders and breaking boulders with their chest playing a game of "Waughsplert". They also do things like hunt, feast, drink, brawl, and more.

Through out all of EFU there has been a wide history of territories claimed by powerful figures in all aspects. From the Sleeping Prymio Inn in Chapter One, to the Gull Rocks of EFU:A, to the port town of Sis Liman in EFU:M there has always been that one place. That one site where everyone looks at everyone else, slowly nods, and says "Fair ground".

In EFU:A it was Gull Rocks where bitter enemies like the Conclave and Styigans would sit across the table from each other hashing out details of an agreement after negotiating Rocks as a location before departing at different times to avoid strangling each other. In EFU:M there was no shortage of gang warfare settled in the Port Authority tavern of Sis Liman. Not to say conflict didn't exist in these places in all forms but there was always an unspoken agreement of "Neutral TerritorY'.

What began as an experiment has grown into something truly awesome. In the last few days I've had the privilege to encounter quite a few PCs on a simple premise: I wanted to try and make one on EFU:R.

Premise: People in lower are starving. EFU:M had an awesome wildling territory like The Unyielding Pass and then the Wilding Cavern. EFU:R doesn't much have that yet.

I'm happy to say it has been a success so far. Using the Uthgar mentality of territory and feast-hospitality I have been able to cultivate a small semblance of atmosphere of previous establishments but this time simply using portable cooking equipment, a well placed cave, and a boulder.

If you have a PC who is interested in the more tribal lifestyle and the wild life of Uthgar we'd be glad to have you. Rangers, Barbarians, Druids, clerics of various nature deities and more have all passed through. Frankly I'd love to keep trying and cultivate a tribal atmosphere if any of those aspects interest an individual.

We've had everything from explorers, rebels, fishermen, cultists, refugees, madmen, and more travel through and with any luck there's no sign of that stopping.

Safety isn't guaranteed, it all may end horribly, but for the time being I'd welcome anyone bored to drop on in if they hear a sending or any other time to see if someone's around.

Will vouch for this. Had the pleasure of dropping in to some excellent roleplay a number of times.

In a weird turn of events we had our biggest secret meat party to date!

My thanks to everyone who showed up. It was awesome seeing the cave go from 3 to 6 to 13 to even more as people just dropped in all night

xD

Secret meat parties less secret.

There was a point when we had the entire server there for a while. Also your tileset override looks pretty.
