I suggest reducing the price of travel on the Ring Ninety-Seven raft to a sum that's befitting the location you're headed. The Renunciation, for example, won't always have the 100gp there-and-back charge that the Muckboys assess. Could a price of 10gp be considered instead, given that it isn't terribly far? It would make lives easier and impoverished NPCs come and go all the time from that area.
The Renunciation people could have instead an alternative passageway, maybe? Once in the "faction" (is it a faction?), They would get to know a secret route away from the mundane muckboys' greed
I think an underwater path might also be nice in the 97th.
So monster races or villains dont have to awkwardly pass with the 5 gold raft. (unless muckboys are fine with that)
Currently unable to do so until fixes are applied to EFUSL as it contains all the data for our voyages.
Abjuring the Tyrant Want is difficult for want of gp to make the trek back from the monastery. With EFUSL fixed, could the price be tweaked or a Renunciation-specific means of accessing the pyre added?
They recently added a method to travel there for free.
