My PC was set at afflicted by the planes, did a few planar fragments then returned to Ticker with the server crashing as a result (bare in mind that at no point did I reach the level of moderate sickness before the crash). Upon logging in after the reset, my PC was immediately set to moderate sickness with the glowing effects. This is the first time this has happened to me, however user Pimzu told me he has had it happen numerous times, including random bursts of planar sickness (or switching of levels to a higher state) in places like the Commons and elsewhere.

I can attest, yes. It happened to me twice though, I remember clearly one day being in 'unaflicted' state and jumping to 'infected' while simply walking the King's Commons. No magic from wizards targeted to me (that I know of), and no planar activity. I took it ICly though, also OOCly thinking it MIGHT be an IC thing rather than a bug, but never sure.
