We reviewed the proposal and voted on it. Some agreed, some disagreed, most asked for revisions.
We are submitting a reviewed proposal for review at the next moot. Once we agree on a contract proposal suitable to our needs, we will send you the counter-proposal.

In summary, revisions are needed, but the idea itself has not been rejected.

I will keep you updated as to the ongoing negotiations.
