I would recommend against believing everything you read in the Mermaid's Tale as the absolute truth. Many of the stories are exaggerated and some are wholly fabricated, such as the recent one about dolls.
However, I'm always looking to share knowledge with the population of Ephia's Well so that they may better avoid the dangers posed by strange entities that seek to enter our homes and our fellow residents.
