Doors auto-close really fast right now and always seem to do so while trying to greet people and invite them in. Could we maybe increase the time before doors close to like 20-30 seconds? It's really obnoxious and it leads to a lot of peanut gallery jokes about the hinges or whatever as the doors are always slamming in people's faces.
I second this. Please. If not for me, for the memory of Mari opening the door of the Krak all mysteriously and having to re-open it a thousand times before even finishing her "What mysteries bring you to my doorstep?" shtick.
Throwing in my support for this. Sometimes they just close too early when I'm in the middle of typing something.
It's actually a really hard problem to solve. If they are left open too long from the outside, people can just follow you in.
Even doubling the timer would be enough. Maybe tripling it?
Right now it seems to be a round or two before they close. 24-30 seconds should be plenty of time to type out a "Please come in" or "Sorry I'm busy" without having to open the door 3-4 times for a basic greeting or rejection
It's 15 seconds atm.
When somebody following you in is an issue, can't you just close the door once you're in? That's anyway faster than waiting for the auto-close.
Or does it not work with different areas? I've always assumed it does but I'm actually not sure. Can't verify it by yourself...

My understanding is that not all plaza properties (maybe none? like you said you cannot tell on your own) let you universally close the door behind you from inside such that it stops people outside from meandering in after you for that window of time.
I think in this particular case they are talking about internal 'faction' doors like Legate doors and Krak rented property doors. Property doors that connect via loading screen might be different beasts.
