Dear Sirs,

A COMPENDIUM TO EPHIA'S WELL – PATRONAGE TOPIC: "THE CINQUEFOIL ROSE"

1.    We refer to the conversations between our Balstan Gloamingdaith and your:

        (a)    your Sister Amelie and Sister Selsi on 12 Hziran IY 7788;

        (b)    your Balestriere Maria Tuscanzi on 15 Hziran IY 7788; and

        (c)    your Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon on 17 Hziran IY 7788.

2.    We further refer to your Sisterhood's and Banda Rossa's patronage of the Compendium to Ephia's Well (the "Compendium").

3.    We are pleased to inform you that your topic of interest, that being the Cinquefoil Rose, has been drafted. Pursuant to the Sisterhood's and the Banda Rossa's patronage, we provide you with an advance copy of four pages of the Compendium relating to your indicated topic of interest. We enclose herein the draft pages (the "Draft Pages").

4.    Further to the above, we note that the Balladeers of the Lost Hearth (the "Balladeers") have yet to confirm their patronage of the Compendium. Considering their reputation as the premiere patrons and benefactors of the arts and scholarship in Ephia's Well, we are of the view that this error must have occurred due to our failure to reach the Balladeers timeously. This is especially so as the Balladeers presently remain the only faction out of the relevant factions of Ephia's Well who have failed to provide their patronage to the Compendium. In the premises, and in the interest of fairness, we can only express our deepest of apologies, and we would be honoured to provide the Balladeers with the opportunity to confirm their patronage of the Compendium.

5.    In light of the foregoing, we'd be grateful if you would let us know by 24 Hziran IY 7788 as to:

        (a)    your proposed amendments (if any) to the Draft Pages; and

        (b)    the Balladeers' patronage of the Compendium and payment in the sum of One Thousand (1,000) dinars as to the same, to be made to our Balstan Gloamingdaith at a time of mutual convenience.

6.    Please feel free to reach out to the Sandstone College if you have any query.

7.    In the meantime, all of our rights remain expressly reserved, including but not limited to the right to make any revisions to the Draft Pages as we deem fit without further reference to you.
