In my relative absence I note that the city has been crumbling. I hear rumors of lost battles. I hear of our alliance being fragile, to the point of crumbling. Now I witness with my own eyes the deaths of my own people, the destruction of the Well.
While the Legates turn away from the Axe and put the Wroth upon the Stele we are soon met by tragedy, and all the while I feel that all that we should be doing we are not.
So I ask you, not as accuser, but a man seeking answers to a question that I had to ask myself once before,
What is happening to my Well?
