Preparator,
In case I am unable to attend the vigil tonight, I have prepared a few words for each of the fallen Fourth Legion.
Mihaly Feher
Mihaly was a dutiful soldier who never balked and never hesitated to carry out his duties, even when he was outnumbered. I know less than I would like of his motivations or his background, but he was willing to sacrifice himself for the Fourth-- and that's all I needed to know. He will be remembered.
Hosan Abtahi
Hosan came to us from the wastes, a refugee who was desperate to ensure that no one else needed to suffer as he had suffered to reach the Well. He was a godly man and one who followed his heart, wherever it led him. For a time, it took him away from the Legion, but when we needed him most, he returned and was welcomed as a brother-in-arms. He never hesitated to put himself into the line of fire to protect his fellow man, and gave his life to prevent the advance of the Enemy. He will be remembered.
Samton Ashworth
Sergeant Samton Ashworth felt every loss we sustained in this war most keenly, so perhaps it is only fitting that his death has rent such a wound in the Legion. He was loyal to a fault, and held himself and his brothers to the same standard he held himself. He was dutiful, impulsive, responsible, short-sighted, caring, impatient. He deserved every honor he was awarded and twice that he didn't receive, and we'll not see his like again. He will be remembered.
