There are Janissary and blue npcs in a lot of exterior areas around the Well and it makes PVP very weird since they are commonly traveled places but are mostly just being ignored anyway.

I don't mind the NPCs being there, but can we change them to Gray names? Having to reference an obscure ruling made on Discord is going to lead to confusion and trouble down the line.
I agree please be rid off the janissaries at the coin gate 's next area that connects with the sand worm tunnels and make the refugees gray so the pvp thats lately more prominent can be fought there.

Yeah they don't even respond to red NPCs in the area. No idea what the Ettercaps are bribing them with 🤣.
I agree that there's no point in having faction guard NPCs in a likely PvP area, unless they are a credibly lethal threat to fullbuffed PVP aggressors. Otherwise they create this weird case where they are a PvP deterrent, but only when a DM is *not* there to possess them 🧐.
