You've probably heard around,
Slinging poetry on the ground,
Now I know you Scribes don't know art,
Your verses hit a crowd like a warm fart,
Stop playing with your little pens and ledgers,
Find me and get rough around the edges,
I challenge your best to a poetry duel,
I'll feed you my verses like a bucket of gruel.
To the aspiring poet called Pete,
A poem written with such heat,
My verses aren't farts but are fire,
Especially when spun 'pon my lyre,
