Evanderall or Ristar or Vander or Evan or Ev or whatever other name someone would decide to call him on a whim, was my first PC on the server. Totaled up to about four months of play time, being a weird, quiet guy in the Legion.
Being my first character I had little expectations of anything. The setting, the story, the people so I pretty much just picked a class and race, said "yea he's from Waterdeep" and went from there. Over the course of the four months I played him, I got to engage with the server and setting and absolutely fell in love with it.
This server is without exaggeration one of the coolest things I've ever taken part in and ranks up there with the one DND campaign I've fully played in from start to satisfying end as one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had.
Vander himself was a flat character. He was dispassionate except in some rare instances, rarely spoke unless spoken to, and mostly just observed others. And despite that, I had a blast. Whether it was out questing with Cort and Selwyn or working alongside Reyer and Hanson I was having the time of my life, even if Ristar said maybe a sentence every half hour.
Good luck to those as they finish this War, and I look forward to playing out my next character with you folk!

He was a good man, kind, quiet, but dependable.
You've been there on all three of my Priests (Grenth, Noxieos, Korin at the time of writing this.) And each one was fun to be around you on. I always remember how curious you are about religion, and how willing you were to listen. I've only a few screenshots with Vandy, but I'll post a few.

Fantastic Janissary and I enjoyed our interactions immensely.
Quietly competent and consistently surprising. Ristar coming out of nowhere to throw me a heal during our battle with Ramcrest was indicative of how he always was, really. Help unlooked for and immediately appreciated.
Vander was the perfect "Sane Cop" to Ward and Hans' good cop bad cop.
It was an absolute joy to get to be legion at the same time as you.
