I started off wanting to bring religion to the forefront of the server and get other clerics (Chaplains & Priests) involved in preaching, converting, and being leaders of -their- faith. So I created Yogi Caellius Melus.
For his name, I decided to have Yogi as his first name as something his mother and father called him, maybe as a nickname or his birth name, but either case I just liked the name Yogi (also I use to call my dad Yogi and he called me Boo boo). I crafted him after my dad's personality and history. He was a carpenter by trade, an amateur tailor, a preacher, and a country boy. He could have a bit of a temper is pushed to far but most of the time he was a gentle and loving soul of everyone. So, Yogi was born out of that memory.
As for the Caellius Melus name, I wanted him to be tutored by some Legionnaires that rescued his group while travelling the wastelands from the outer rings. If I remember right, Roman names have a clan/tribe name and then a family name, and this is how Yogi paid respect to his saviors/teachers.
The first day on the server I managed to secure the position of Hakem. It blew my mind how I successfully talked people into giving me the position but it helped me do exactly what I wanted to do with the Wheel Faithful. Yogi quickly went to work securing supporters and his voice. Took less then a week to secure a 15, 000 Voice, and Yogi didn't have to sell any promises or special favors for it.
Was I the best Hakem, absolutely not, but I think some people still enjoyed Yogi trying his hardest to lead others.
Yogi's favorite people were Zina, Tasnim, Sister Amélie, and Gellemede Fortune Teller ;)
I wanted Yogi to present the gentler side of the Kula faith while the druids could all wrathful. I got to interact with so many people because I was able to secure the Hakem title very early on. I also wanted Yogi to support the leaders of the Wheel Faiths, the Chaplains and Priests, in connecting with the NPCs and PCs of the server with regular sermons, religious holiday activities, Synod gatherings, and missionary attempts. I saw the DMs put an incredible amount of work into the faiths and I wanted to bring them to the forefront of the server. I didn't want the Wheel Faiths to be so isolated or cliquish. Which led to a moderate amount of conflict with the other PCs and I welcomed it, at times. Other times I attacked it outwardly, sorry Rowan's player.
After I lost the position of Hakem, sadly, I lost a lot of interest in playing Yogi, and every time I long in I couldn't figure out a story to tell. I tried to focus on his carpentry and muster up some funding for rebuilding the stockades, but so many others were also doing it and the primary focus at the time as the war. At times I tried to make Yogi more warrior like in his fighting and participate in some wartime battles but it was fleeting. I even tried to work with Alexandria Sayburgh by securing a Magistrate position but that didn't work for me either.
I wish I had more screenshots of the behind the works stuff, but I don't, sorry! I think Yogi's story is at a close. I'm sure he's tinkering away at repairs for the stockade or petitioning for expansions with his voice, and I'm ok to end it there.
Thank you to everyone that made Yogi's story special for me!

He drifted in like a soft breeze. Stumbled into religious authority and turned out to be an even hand at the job. I wish I had gotten to interact with him more.
Good luck on your next!
