Investigation of Kastante Meyer's Property, "The Sorcerer's Union"

Arrived to property as investigation was in process. Sergeant Reyer, Apothar Zol Nur, Senior Scribe Kiran, and Cogsworth Clockhand were inside. Before I arrived, Apothar Zol Nur stated the property had an ominous atmosphere and they discovered a trapped chest and secured a pipe and a skull.

The property had little furniture. One statue in the main room "dedicated to Ephia's dead Ssorcerers" surrounded by lockboxes, a bed in a corner, and a crate or two against the walls. The back room contained a few more pieces of furniture.

Jamileh Attar and Nadiri Kaelen also entered at Apothar Zol Nur's request. All present gathered in the back room. A face formed on the wall taking the resembling Nadiri Selwyn (deceased). It stated that Apothar Zol Nur let them die.

Shortly after, the stone floor began to quiver and tremble like a seizing muscle then grew pustules as we moved to the main room. The Stoneskin Nadiri Kaelen cast upon himself was also effected. Pustles formed and then burst on it. This did not appear to harm Nadiri Kaelen.

Nadiri Kaelen was dispelled several times, but this served only to removed his other wards, so attempts were stopped. The form of Nadiri Selwyn appeared in the floor again and thanked Jamileh for her help.

Nadiri Kaelen began to cry acid while the statue spoke, "He just wanted to wear his hat. You couldn't even let him have that." The Statue may be referring to Kaelen's wizard-style hat, though Jamileh mentioned a "Sandstone fez". Either way, it appeared to be attempting to break, tempt, or otherwise fuck with Nadiri Kaelen. These attempts were not successful.

A lesser djinn of Earth and Flesh manifested and was quickly dispatched. Jamileh stated the one Kastante brought before her was ten times larger.

Aurelio and Onion, his squire, arrived and went into the back room. Apothar Zol Nur recommended to condemn and purge the building. Aurelio and Onion entered the back room and destroyed a screaming chest and, presumably, the rest of the furniture then re-entered the main room.

Nadiri Kaelen's pustulant Stoneskin dripped off. He then burned the main room with several fireballs. A lump of flesh attempted to crawl away from the flames onto Apothar Zol Nur's robes. The robes were removed, washed in fire, and the lump of flesh was apparently destroyed with a swing from Aurelio's sword.

After this, the property rapidly took on the feel of just a property. Aurelio and Onion finished the rest of their ritual and all parties left to discuss Kastante's exile, bounty, and so on.
