Hello,
I am unsure about other factions, but having to wear Janissary faction gear(armor,shield,cloak,helmet) is/feels like a disadvantage rn, especially now when all this crazy rare loot is out there. Probably most of the gear was made in the very beginning of v6 and never got an updated?
Suggestion:
Make Janissary faction gear shop great so it feels rewarding(loot/reward wise) to be part of it.

Uniforms have always been both an advantage and a cost of faction membership, the Legion especially has a lot of weight to throw around should they choose to. Not being able to use some of the really cool loot that's out there is the price you pay for it.
That said, there is plenty of Precedent for Legion members who really distinguish themselves getting something special and better suited for them specifically from the quartermaster.

I agree, the 'weight' of responsibilities is there:)
In v5 Blackjacks were easy breezy RP and there was no faction gear which was totally fine.
All I am saying is that it would be nice, as a Janissary, to have something to look forward and able to buy with all those faction points. Yeah the shield is great but that's pretty much it.
Maybe a 'masterwork' version of uniform would be good.
Not all janissary are sergeant material so there's some PCs that will be wearing their soldier uniform forever.
erm yeah i had a look in the favor store and beside the shield theres nothing worthwhile ??
there are a ton of lets say pragmatic gear though, thats cool
The Janissaries have incredibly powerful tools at their disposal, you just have to learn how to use them.

This is absolutely true.
The Legion's main benefit for favor is in their consumables and trinkets over their gear.
Learn it, Live it, Love it.
