"The Garden will breathe life to the sands, the wind will blow kindly in the faces of those who seek to safeguard the future. Bel Ishun, DQWR!"
- Asherias Myl, before the final battle with Iakmes.
Asherias' story begins as the host of an adventuring company, a joining of oddballs and outcasts, who's eccentric nature fostered a fellowship of sincerity, built upon the foundations of deeper understanding and compassion. Though this fellowship was broken apart by murder and footfalls that lead to roads abroad, Asherias' life lead itself to one of service, this idea built brick by brick, by the same virtues that joined her fellowship not so long ago.
So much so, that she ran her bid for Legate and even became the standing Legate of the White League, and, when wielding so much power of the government, and at the height of displeasure towards La Banda Rossa, Asherias put aside her public grudge to cooperate with them and usher in a seamless function between the Palatial Pyramid, and the banner of the Red and Black, resulting in the second Warmaster in the latter part of the war against Iakmes.
In the heart of Bet Nappahi, she cast aside rose petals for feathers, wearing the Cloak of the White Heron as she met Iakmes upon the precipice of fate. With dancer's chakram and spiked targe as dance partners, Asherias twirled in mortal waltz with the warlord, until the song of clanging brass came to its end. The undertaker of Asherias Myl is known to none but the Gods of Graves and Age, though with such death-defying bravado, one can only assume that it is counting every every grain in the hourglass - how else can one be so certain that her time has not come, after having her mortality tested again, and again?
Even now, in Ephia's Well, the Bloodsands mark well the shape of her boots' soles, and the sheen of red in contrast to blood, for she dances as all dervish to do, honoring the city of Ephia's Well with her displays of courage.
For those who hold the ambition of individual excellence, and to maintain the continuation of Ephia's Well, they will find a strong foundation with Asherias Myl, a woman who's bravado is as staggering as her fortitude. Seek The Liberator of Arslan, the slayer of Iakmes, the twice-named champion of the arena, and give call to her name, when darkest night has come to The Disc and the future lies in the balance, for few understand the value of something greater than themselves.
That in itself is the definition "hero".
