An outringer, lost to the Wastes for 10 years, arriving with the Tonsured's Caravan of some ten thousand strong. Driven to this land by tragedy, welcomed to it with sorrow, in the form of collateral damage against the Sibilant Empire on Red Hill. The meteor from beyond the stars crashed upon this Disc and slew most of those who marched under that banner. Directly exposed to the fel glow of this meteor, Selsi survived, largely in part to the Cinquefoil Rose and their actions during The Battle of Red Hill.
A communal planner and builder, Selsi saw the Sisterhood as an able patron to enable her efforts as to integrate the refugee community she came from into the city, as well as expand upon the city's territories to house the growing communities that came as a consequence of the growing ashstorms that lead them inwards.
Politics would be the vector of engagement that drove this dream forward.
It began with Legate Domhnall Guivarch of the White League, who had chosen her to be a statistician for the League of White - responsibility she did not see herself fulfilling at first, but then grew to enjoy it, as the process went on, of which she has now polled and participated in every election since her arrival of Red Hill. Selsi observed the overlapping patterns, the disconnect, the mutating interests along many communities, counting even the minute details between genders, beliefs and even species, and able to draw early conclusions based on the current topics and their values at that immediate moment.
Beholding each individual clue, Selsi became as a seer, both predicting and navigating the political future of Ephia's Well before the election was even called, going as far as preparing probabilities of the political fallout surrounding each candidate, their proposals and how it was favored among the voting population. One might argue divination through numerology, if they did they not know better.
She has also observed how the system has changed, noting the waning participation of assemblies to discuss legislation with the Voiced, the growing fear of monochrome administrations and the tactical selection of candidates based on "who will win", rather than who embodies their ideas.
A finger to the pulse of The Great Experiment, every Legate since Domnhall has hoped to have her in their shadow, or her words for the electoral process. A diamond for the Asterbadi process and an able-bodied advocate that even The Sultan and His three daughters could hope to turn to, for when the system shows symptoms of ailment.
