On the Matter of Fires within the Offices of Particular Import
Including appended copy of eyewitness statement rendered to the Fourth Legion
Yesterday (on occurrence of change, when Illul 26th became Illul 27th ), we bore witness to an outbreak of fire within the premises of the Offices of Particular Import - a building maintained by the Sublime Garden and located within the Palm Heights. The source of the fire was traced to activities conducted by the Second Flame smithing guild, whose representatives publicly confirmed their responsibility over broadcast.
To ascertain whether reparations should be levied upon the guild and whether formal charges of Vandalism ought to be referred to the Fourth Legion, we request an appraisal of the damages inflicted.
Though aged, the Offices remain a notable property due to being located in Palm Heights. They have undergone numerous aesthetic refinements, including smoothly plastered and sanded walls.
Accordingly, we inquire into the following:
- Was there damage to cosmetic condition of the building (walls, floors, plaster), and the cost of repairs;
- Was the structural integrity of the building compromised, and the cost of repairs;
- Was there damage to furnishings within, and cost of repairs (we personally observed a carpet partly consumed by flame).
The findings will be appended and relayed to the Fourth Legion accordingly.
In preservation of Sublime assets,

QuoteScribe Eizo,
Really, I'm just quite glad the fire did not spread out further! A wonderful old carpet, and priceless thing, really, was scuffed and burnt, the thread itself fine, but the tapestry blotched. A shame, but we do lay such things at our feet. So the road is traveled.
I might suggest some pittance and just perhaps some caution to these gentlemen renting the room in the future. it is fortune all are hale.
