Title: [A note left for Valeria at the Hanged Heron]
Post by: IKeepForgettingMyUserName on August 03, 2025, 11:10:44 AM
The stonemen don't want to see you in Tablet. I gave promise that you wouldn't enter the shelter so other elves could stay. There is always below still.

Knud tried to kill me but failed badly. You would have laughed, it was entertaining. I choked him on sand a few times then left big grease and web traps. I could bring him down but why?

Maybe I will actually knock him down next time and dress him as jester with cursed clothes so he has to walk around like that but I don't know. Do you think I should? I still like Agassians but he did declare himself our enemy. He's better than that Hanson liar.

Banda Rossa are mad at you too. I found new elves and they don't hate you but they're scared. There is Berry and there is Caelorin. Berry is a detective and Caelorin is a Nadiri.

Niamh worries for you.

Remember that there is nothing that can't be washed away in defiler blood.

One day we will die. Let it be with carrion pile of the wicked.

Phaedra,

I can't read so I'm not sure why you're writing me letters. Just kidding, haha. I don't care about the stone men or staying there, so it's fine. Knud is an idiot and if he tries to hurt you again I'll kill his brother for it.

I don't mind meeting the new elves but they were probably already trapped by the clipped-ears in the pyramid. One of them was named an augur, which I think is one of the fake titles for bribing people. I don't know why the Banda Rossa would be mad? I cleaned up one of their reclutas that obviously wasn't cut out for the job, so really I just saved them time. Their bosses are too dumb to ever answer my offers to do dirty work for them so they don't ruin their agreement with the Janissary or whatever.

Niamh? I forgot what dreamer that is already, but don't tell her that.

I met with another druid. She had four fingers and regrew the missing one in front of me, then chewed it off in a screaming bloody mess and called her hand divine. She said that we are either slaves or masters, nothing else. She said that ruin is inevitable, and that we should paint the sands red with blood. I agree I think, but that seems to be her end purpose, where as I'd like to see some stuff sprouting from the watering, as we have before.

I miss the world I remember. I miss the trees and the Mist. I miss the rain and the water. I've read more of the Wyld lately and it says that we should spread the Mother's waters. I think the Ashfolk keeping it stockpiled is keeping this world in ASH.

Valeria,

Don't worry about Knud I will play shadow games with him when he goes running about.

Banda Rossa seem mad because people dying and losing dinar in their home makes them look weak (Like Janissary!) They might be greedy too. Careful of them.

Niamh is one of few newborn here in Well. I like her but she also speaks with the betrayers.

This one you write of sounds like actual follower of Wyrm. She is death where Kula is both the Lightning and the Sweet Water. I agree that she could help water sands but will forget to do anything else. Don't show her your back!

There is something draining away waters. I do not know its source yet but I suspect it is the Qa'immi ashfolk heathens. There is some secret somewhere that would reveal truth. But when we have no water, we may use blood.

Have you heard more of shade called Smiley? He has den now where Skargrim were. I have been asked to make a garden and I want to do this but have no seeds. If I can find him I will carve out his heart and smother it in Green. From its beating will spring a bloom!
