Title: How to Destroy Qa'im - A plan sent to the Legates
Post by: IKeepForgettingMyUserName on August 19, 2025, 07:32:31 AM
How to Destroy Qa'im

First. Trade. Spiders still want peace and will spin silk! With spider silk you don't need to wait to clear away all the earth brooker's leavings. With the silk many friends could be made across the desert. There are good places like Yaxatan and Alkab that could still join together! If Alkab becomes a true ally then all their friends from grain trade will join too.

This is the first step to make an axis against Qa'im.

Second. Once everyone has silk they will listen more to what you have to say. Show them how bad Qa'im is and how they have spies everywhere. Remind them that Qa'im are accursed Pra'Rajis who are only good for feeding the earth.

Third. With all the allies of the desert declare a crusade against the blasphemers! By breaking their abominations Kula will bless us and spread the Green. With Her blessing war can rage across the desert and crush the heathens once and for all!

These things can be done if you have the will. Give me all the worms the office of nuisance collects and you will see.

Phaedra,

Your friend murdered my friend.

Do you realize that?

Do you feel any guilt, anything at all?

I lie awake at night mourning, lamenting that the last fucking thing we talked about was some vote. I don't think we even said goodbye, and you have the gall to write to me?

I have no words.

Garen,

Qa'im is a threat to all life. The world is dying. This is what I write of.

You are a Legate meant to lead people through this. Your every act kills and spares thousands of lives. You may well be the single hand that determines fate of all. This mantle you wear is that of the harvest and of the planting.

Sew the wastes or step down if all you can think of is Valeria.

To answer you, no. I do not feel guilt for a reaping I did not bless. I have Pra'Raji to destroy and a world to save.
