"Honoured colleagues of the Purple League, I thank you for the trust you have placed in me! In the days ahead, you shall hear my vision for our rising city, a jewel of stone and water at the heart of the desert.
Together, we will strengthen our coffers, raise higher walls against the storm, guard against the dangers that creep ever closer, and extend our hand in friendship across the wide disc.
Many will tell you we live in peace. And perhaps, on the surface, this seems true. Yet beneath the calm, threats stir like serpents beneath the dunes. My first duty shall be to prepare us, to ensure that Ephia's Well does not merely endure, but flourishes, no matter what shadows approach.
Under my leadership, prosperity shall flow to all. Our growing wealth will be turned swiftly toward raising the ramparts of our new district, increased allotment for our hard working accords-
while also recognising and rewarding those citizens and companies whose sweat and skill build the bones of our home.
Over the coming days, I will seek each of you out as I am able, and encourage you also to seek me as well. And if my fellow candidates wish to test their ideas against mine in open debate, I welcome it gladly.

"Live and Drink, purple league candidate Enmur here. I shall be about this day to speak with the citizendry of the Well, to hear their needs and concerns for the future, and to present my own campaign—though I must say, much of it Buster has already taken and copied.
This election, it seems, will not be decided by policy alone, but by the quality of the candidate who carries it forward. What I offer you, Ephia's Well, is experience.
Experience in keeping our finances steady, ensuring coin is spent where most needed, ensuring the Well does not just survive but thrive. Experience in trade, in diplomacy, and a record that speaks for itself.
Now, I do like many of Buster's expensive initiatives, I won't deny it. They are bright ideas, and there is merit in them. But they are small-picture ideas, the kind better brought to the Assembly, where legates and citizens alike may agree on their worth and fund them together.
He will not have the authority to make the changes he promises—and that is because he lacks experience in how things must be done. I've no wish to micro-manage the accords or tell good folk how to run their ventures.
My aim is to present opportunities in which all may prosper. Let those who wish to give charity, to go above and beyond, be recognized by the Assembly, and let initiatives be funded by the people's will.
We've heard this kind of overly-optimistic white league rhetoric before. And we know what follows: empty coffers, debt, and a city left staggering until others spent six terms mending the damage.
So I ask you, Ephia's Well—do you want another round of misguided optimism? Or do you want strength, steadiness, and stability? That is what I offer. Vote Purple."

"As certain people have decided that I am too threatening to debate, I will make my policies clear over the bellows as brief as I can but I welcome you to seek me out to discuss them.
Economically, I intend to reduce property and board tax. I want to see all our properties affordable and in use and that our adventuring populace has more coin in their pockets. I will abolish unnecessary titles and wages that will significantly bolster our coffers, much is going to waste currently.
I will be sanctioning government endorsed delving to assess and plan for future threats of tormented, working close with the Fourth Legion to ensure we are protected. More resources will be committed to erecting our new district walls.
I will work with the faith to help spread our ideals and faith to Arslan that they might better acclimate and work with our neighbours to bolster our trade relations.
I will support initiatives brought before assembly that help us protect and house our refugees while we work on the new district, we must protect each and everyone of our residents that will contribute to our success, the ash storms and enemies have claimed too much.
And Valeria the murderer's bounty will be immediately changed to dead or alive and we will have justice. Let her find no safe haven. Those who associate with her will feel the full force of the law upon them."

"Live and drink. You've heard promises from each candidate, bright words and hopeful plans. But promises are not power without the means to make them real. The Purple League speaks plainly: Strength and Stability.
Why should you trust me over the others? Because I have done this work. As proprietor of the Ashen Conclave, I have built trade ties that bring coin and craft to our halls. I know how to grow a business, balance a ledger, and invest in people who deliver results.
Dudley is a fine warrior and craftsman. We honor her skill, but leadership is more than strength of arm. It is the steady hand that wins allies and opens markets. Buster cares for people, but caring alone cannot keep our coffers whole or our streets safe.
My plan is simple and practical: lower taxes where they stifle enterprise, stop waste, and spend efficiently; prioritising defence and investments that jump-start jobs and trade. We will host our neighbours, expand our markets, and use diplomacy to further our reach across the sands.
I will lean on the expertise of our scribes and Legion to ensure our law is enforced fairly and firmly. Those who murder our citizens or shelter our enemies will face justice.

"I'm not going to spend overly long on you Dudley because I do not really consider you a serious competitor this election.. you try to diminish my talents but those are exactly what the well needs. How do you think you are going to pay for all of your promises?
There's more then one way to serve the Sultan and Ephia's Well, and that is why I am running this election. Because I do not believe my competitors are qualified for the demands of the office of Legate and I wish to see us succeed.
It is quite telling though, your naïve attitude on trusting the words of a mad killer and having absolutely zero understanding of the function of the Souk. Perhaps you should stick to war and crafts and leave the politics to the rest of us."

"The time to vote soon approaches. Tradition is what has upheld our Great Ring and the realm of the most blessed and gracious Maribid for so long, even through the fall of the Rings. Tradition is what will steer us true, and see our strength bolstered in orderly and considered fashion.
Purple is the league of Tradition. Purple of the league of His Magnificence the Sultan. Purple will have my vote. Faranos, our candidate, is a man of capability. He has been successful in several ventures; he shows the pedigree of a governor, not just an idealist.
Further, he has for a long time provided us, in his duty as Palatial Officer, with certain little snippets that have lead to victories for the Fourth in our constant struggle against the blight of criminality. Faranos is a man of capability, and a long-time friend of the state.
