One of my favourite characters that I've played to date and certainly the most fun I've had in EFU:R, Obersvesky has finally met his end, doing what he loved most.
An illusionist specializing in fear and manipulation of the population to serve his own authoritarian agenda. He was virtually devoid of empathy and understood such concepts only in relation to his own twisted vision of absolute order, after being desensitized to suffering and fear when his peasant family was butchered in civil war. He never really liked to let on his humble origins, disdaining all those who did not achieve as parasites and drains on society useful only for supporting the structures of tyranny (Banite obviously). I had hoped to accomplish more in the way of making Sanctuary into the intrusive police state he dreamed of and reaching that elusive promotion, but I had a hell of a lot of fun on the road.
Props to everyone I had the chance to hang with and the DM's for running and facilitating so much awesome stuff. Special shout out to Sternhund for his plots, Magister for being my bro-crony and Kadar/Abala for being sick to scheme with.
Without further ado, screenshots!
A BOM and Calculor spectacular.

An appropriate reward. Winners only.

The giant asshole that is Dalton Jengrun.

Yet more from the SG's resident jerk.

Displaying his usual lack of compassion and regard for civilian deaths. Collateral damage became his mantra.

Giants are serious business.

Having run out of ways to stop it, and avenues of escape, Obersvesky takes drastic measures. Namely dropping a statue on its head.

Spooking thugs.

Criminals don't get reprieves in reality. A case of sanctioned police brutality.

When he wasn't busy scheming and planning world domination, Obersvesky liked to take some time to relax by conquering castles.

Talking with some very important people.

His overriding and only great fear summed up in one piece of loot. The tagline haunted him at the very end.

Thank you ladies and gentleman, and good night!

Much love.
the noble hero who rescued acacia dies shortly after. she weeps
To me he was always an enigmatic super-villain. Brief, ominous and memorable interactions. Great stuff, definitely made me feel the fear.
Awesome agent.
Awesome
Darth Vader.
Good stuff!
An incredible villain.
You kept it classy mate, I appreciate it. Great PC, infuriating to talk to. Good luck with your next.
Villain? Who said he was a villain?
Very good Agent.
I absolutely loved Obersvesky. He had so much class. Thessaly saw him as an icon of law to be respected, Shannon did not get to know him well enough to have an opinion, sadly.
Fantastic character.
Always scares the crap out of Narvis.
Awesome and inspirational character, from the times I interacted with him. :3
A great example for Spellguard Agents to follow. Enjoyed him immensely for his brevity of word that always managed to convey the weight of an Agent thoroughly. I have a single screenshot to contribute of working diligently with him to solve Sanctuary's emergencies:

Awesome Agent, D_I, fantastic work.
A little sad I didn't get to interact with him more than the occasional run in. Most of which involved me getting magiced at and running to safety. That said he was a scary dude, and very classy too, I agree. Cheers
Great PC D_I, you were much feared and with good reason. Will miss knowing that you're out there plotting Scrapper deaths.
Outstanding Spellguard Agent.
Great work brother.
Outstanding work D_I. Oversvesky was the epitome of state utilitarianism.

You guys are playing Monopoly, aren't you?
Well done, D_I
The friction between our characters was well played and always enjoyable. I loved how it was a constant battle of wits of good vs evil. I really thought that at some point we were going to come to blows, but alas, never happened.
Ironically, that screen shot you have of Jengrun saying 'oh how embarassing' was when he tried to cast a DC 20 Hold person or some thing on me and I made my save, just shrugging it off, I laughed my ass off at my desk at that. He was such an ass too!
And fighting that Giant was damn epic too!
Awesome times, man, awesome times!
Had a great time playing with you, epic ending.
Inspired fear, even when he was our ally, well played sir!
Fantastic work. He was a lot of fun to engage with. :)
